A COMING OF AGE STORY - A tale of growing up on Maryland's Eastern Shore in the turbulent 1960's. It was the age of JFK, LBJ, Dr. King and Nixon. Muhammad Ali and the Beatles. Civil Rights, Vietnam and the Space Race. The story is set in historic St. Michaels, a community with a rich history in the vortex of change.



Those Times Created These Times

It was a decade dominated by the struggle for civil rights, the Vietnam War and growing generation gap. This is a fictional story of the Class of 1970 set in historic Talbot County on Maryland's Eastern Shore. It is a coming-of-age story set during tubulent times. The issues then are ones still debated today. Those times set the stage for these times.
